New MSI files means also new tests against latest wine:

Both (32bit and 64bit) are NOT running on Linux (Debian64) on new
wine v5.12 from July, 3rd, 2020!

Reasons are not clear - I suspect the heavy changes in
wine since v5.10.

You may want to read the changes there:

These points are not trivial:
  - More work on the separate Unix library for NTDLL.
  - Beginnings of a NetIO kernel driver implementation.

So if you use The Bat! on Linux with wine:
At these moment it is not recommended to update wine or
The Bat!. Stay calm and please wait for new wine.

If you find something not working related to wine please send a bug
report to wine:
IMPORTANT: Please do not send it to this list.

Please note:
1.) Plugins which are created for use under 32bit didn't work with
64bit version of "The Bat!" (not a wine problem).
2.) A connection to Exchange servers isn't tested yet but may work.
3.) You may or may not find some nice bugs introduced in "The Bat!"
from the windows world also in "The Bat!" on wine. So please watch also
Ritlabs bug tracker very often and very closely. :)

Thankyou for that. I thought that maybe because I could not see unread messages
on the takbar icon that it would correspond with no Unread messages in the Mail
ticker, but that does not seem to be the case as I still have nothing on the

Further to this. I do not normally use the Mail Ticker for messages, but when I

The pop up of hypertext links in HTML mail seems to be working better, but
still
inconsistent. The font seems to change for each link although that may be based
on the underlying code. It would be nicer to use a basic non serif font.

Also it is not consistent in how it comes up on the screen. Sometimes showing
up
partially off screen.
