Have you tried 3.85.03? There is a MAPI Problem in the current Beta.
May Google use this function to send pictures etc..

If you try to email from Google Earth you can either choose your default mail
application or Gmail. In my case it is The Bat and choosing it will totally
blow out Google Earth
So please consider that behavior confirmed :))

But gmail is not a local client with MAPI functionality, so TB crashing
GE and gmail not crashing it is not a comparison.
The issue was that The Bat crashes when invoked from Google Earth but other
clients do not (such as Outlook Express) Gmail was in there to describe what
was happening up
