Re[2]: 4.0 appears on the BT changelog
Hello Jens, Friday, December 14, 2007, 1:59:01, you wrote: We already know, that 4.0 will be released as Christmas Edition (i am a big Fan of the Christmas Editions, but) - so we probably will not be able to test anything before and get a Release to test it later. This is, what i understood. But the politic of this is not understandable to me. Whether The Bat! 4.0 will be released before December 24, 2007, or after that date, we will be testing this version here prior to releasing it. -- Best regards, Maxim Masiutinmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Current beta is 3.99.29 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Filters Process Out of Order
Is it already a known issue that the filters are not being processed in order (from top to bottom) of the filter list? The sixth filter in my list deletes all messages that have :SPAM: in the subject. The 68th filter in my list moves all messages that do not have the 'X-Text-Classification' header into a folder named 'unclassified'. My unclassified folder currently contains 1836 messages, 1237 of them have subjects beginning with :SPAM:! Looking at the log shows that, for some reason, some of the :SPAM: messages are not matching the 6th filter, but instead are being processed by the 68th! Hopefully this will be fixed VERY SOON. Oh, and if it is not a known/open issue, let me know and I'll gladly add it to the bug tracker. -- Steven Vallière | tb 3.99.29 | mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- If you didn't write it down, then it didn't happen. -Larry Zana Current beta is 3.99.29 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Wish/Idea that would make TB unique
1. So: if there would be an assistant in TB, simple TTreeview component, where each node has a corresponding TMemo component, then e.g. a tree could be built, e.g. 2007-12-10 Work TB sale - X Inc. msgid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] msgid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] msgid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TB sale - Y Inc. msgid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] msgid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] msgid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] etc. where emails could be grouped not by name, subject, etc. but independently from anything. Just drag and drop them into the assistant. I know, use folders. But that is complicated. Many folders. Slow. This way easy, theme-grouping could be done. 2. If the above is complicated: how could I open a mail with specific msgid: in TB using an external software. I would build the assistant then and just tell TB which mail to open... -- Vili Current beta is 3.99.29 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Re[2]: Wish/Idea that would make TB unique
Hello Marek, 2. If the above is complicated: how could I open a mail with specific msgid: in TB using an external software. I would build the assistant then and just tell TB which mail to open... commandline parameter /MSGID with Message-ID and folder /MsgId:[EMAIL PROTECTED] /Folder:\\mikus\The Bat!\TBBETA Thank you!! Sweet... :) If I type only the MSGID, (as I don’t know the folder always), I will get that window where I can select the folders. Is it possible to use a switch in the commandline that select all account/folder? I tried /ALL, but did not work. If there is no such switch, I BEG for it :)) I make a nice organizer for TB then. -- Vili The Bat 3.99.6 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Szervizcsomag 2 Current beta is 3.99.29 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
