You can turn off "GDI Objects" column in the task manager. If the number of
objects will approach 1, than it is approaching the limit and The Bat!
should give an error like "cannot write to canvas" or "out of resources" or
similar.

Thank you very much for all the friends who have sent the log files, they've
helped us to figure out the problem. Like with PostMessage limitation on
Windows XP that I wrote about some months ago, there is an artificial
limitation on the number of GDI objects: bitmaps, etc.

There are resource leaks in The Bat! that we are trying to find. Please
backup thebat_Exceptions.log and ex_log.txt files from previous version, and
delete them, so the only new version will write to these files.
Should once again happen an error like "cannot write to canvas"
