Gene, do what Raymund says.

When you open the windows search dialog, you need to check in the
options of the search one checkbox saying something like "look on
system and hidden folders"

Partly. If an unread message appears in more than one virtual folder, the

Cannot confirm. TB filters only one message with the matching filter,

No, wait, it can disappear, when you try to re-thread a message on itself:
shift+drag a message and drop it on its own line, you're asked if you want to
re-thread it, answer "yes", it disappear. Nasty.

Confirmed. This bug exists since a couple of beta versions now.

Finally. There's still a small bug though: first message in collapsed
threads sometimes doesn't lose the unread style (until you switch to
another folder and back again), and the unread counter in folder list
sometimes reflects this (eg. right now I can see 1 folder that shows 1
unread message, even though there's no unread messages in that
folder).

There is nothing to be disappointed about. Anyone who has been
monitoring the Beta! development of The Beta! for some time should
have expected this.

There are more important things to be dissapointed or angry about.
Like deforestation or global climate change.

Ghost Messages

2011-04-18 Thread Dierk Haasis
Hello TBBETA Members!

With at least every first time start [on a given day] TB shows
messages on the MT that will not be shown in the MT browse message
window. Sometimes the messages are foud [as unread] in the folder
tree, like this time. Deleting them, or just marking them read, will
not stop the MT showing them.

I closed TB, got an error about the release of some unused
T-something, the MT ran on, after a while showing a non-existent,
empty message. Had to force-close TB via task manager.

Here's a screen grab of the MT with ghost messages:
