Re: IMAP and reading HTML eMail
Dear Rick, --- Rick / Wednesday Wed 28. Mar 2012, 03:44 PM IMAP and reading HTML eMail But I notice that I am having some issues. One of them is a very nasty one. When I get an eMail that is in HTML, TB! is hanging. What happen: when I move the cursor to that post a small windows comes up (for telling the user it is reading the info) and then stays there. THe window has nothing in it. I then have to kill TB! on a regular base, restart it and then it works. I get the same thing occasionally reading HTML in common folders I am trying to understand when TB! hangs while reading HTML files. Maybe this could be the clue: Most of the time TB! hangs is when I read posts that comes from LinkedIn. There are other HTML posts that are not hanging TB!. So where is the difference? Are LinkedIn posts including strange/wrong HTML codes? @Maxim, please let me now if you need some of those HTML files. -- best regards | Using The Bat! 5.0.36.4 (BETA) Eddie | on Windows 7 6.1 | Build 7601 Service Pack 1 Current beta is 5.0.36.4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

RE: 5.0.36.4 - Timezone problem still exists
The Bat! 5.0.36.4 (BETA) is available at http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/a-5/tb50364.rar I still have the wrong timezone. As no one else seems to have this, could someone please explain where TB gets the timezone information from? This is driving me insane sending email four hours into the future and have the replies come back 'before' the original message is sent. Now using Outlook. Not sure how to quote, etc in Outlook. This message may even be HTML. Cheers Current beta is 5.0.36.4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Dear Dwight, --- Dwight Corrin / Friday Fri 30. Mar 2012, 02:31 PM IMAP and reading HTML eMail I am trying to understand when TB! hangs while reading HTML files. I get lots of HTML messages, and never see TB! hang because of it. Me too. But as I wrote it seems LinkedIn postings seems to be the problem. Looking again after reading your reply I see that HTML that have only a Message.html attached is fine. But most of LinkedIn postings have in addition also a Part.att file attached. I suspect now that this file seems to cause some kind of problems. Depending on it's size? Don't know! -- best regards | Using The Bat! 5.0.36.4 (BETA) Eddie | on Windows 7 6.1 | Build 7601 Service Pack 1 Current beta is 5.0.36.4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

I still have the wrong timezone. As no one else seems to have this, could someone please explain where TB gets the timezone information from? This is driving me insane sending email four hours into the future and have the replies come back 'before' the original message is sent. Now using Outlook. Not sure how to quote, etc in Outlook. This message may even be HTML. This gets weirder. If I flush the cache, it refills and the message list shows the correct times. If I then move to another folder and then back, the times have all changed as if TB's local timezone has changed. Cheers Sent using Outlook. Have you checked if there is a difference between those with and without Part.att file attached? If the eMail is just a normal announcement from LI then it does not have the Part.att file. But those from Group Discussions do have it. -- best regards | Using The Bat! 5.0.36.4 (BETA) Eddie | on Windows 7 6.1 | Build 7601 Service Pack 1 Current beta is 5.0.36.4 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
