Bug with Address Book Groups

Open Adress Book
Select a address book
Select a Group
Hit 3-dots-button
Select Copy
Paste into Notepad
LDIF is missing entry for Group name

That worked in 9.5.1 32bit.

Any confirms?

The Bat! creates subfolders for each program module.

After running Windows user backups, these get added to backup polluting
backup with useless data when a new 10.x version is released!?
Why are those folders with version numbers?

Please create subfolders without these version numbers so backups can
overwrite the old ones.

- MAPI

Why i do this? I have my programs on drive P:

3) After installation The Bat! 10 does not start and process hangs

9.4 Need of minimum font-size setting for HTML viewer

2021-07-08 Thread Gwen
Hello Sopranos, hello Stefan,

currently teh Chromium CEF HTML viewer shows content size as authored.
This is sometimes problematical if fonts have only 1, 2, 4 or 6 px
height.

A setting to show HTML content on minimum fontsize like in a browser would be
nice.

It works. You mean: context menu → Options? You can not set options
for Hunspell, that is a missing feature.
Check content in program folder or mail folder the Speller folder :
Do you have the files
for EN (GB)
- en_GB.aff
- en_GB.dic
or
for EN (US)
- en_US.aff

The saved mail shows the signature as HTML element address and is
rendered as italic in CEF preview.

The HTML code in mail generated by The Bat! is:

Seems to be a bug to handle a signature semantically as address.

And i use in Plain Text templates vertical bars, -'s and +'s as text to create
boxes.
If CEF browser renders these, they look ugly as italic.

As it should be:

Mailserver has updated its certificates or sends a broken chain of

Try with activated Microsoft CryptoAPI (see The Bat! Options → S/MIME and TLS)
instead certicates in addressbook's.

Implementation of macros like these from Gaijin's XMP plugin could be a goal.
Now with The Bat!'s Unicode mode for templates most macros are broken.

Annoying issue. It take about 10-25 sec for mail to display after
start of The Bat! (mail is already fetched by POP3!).
Seems initialisation of CEF taks long the first time.

BUG: Previously displayed HTML message content is cached and shown for
current message.

As i received a message with empty text and HTML body, only a
attachment, a HTML part was shown but that display was wrong,
from a older deleted message i received previously.
That wrong display even stayed if i selected other messages in message
list.
The correct display was shown after i selected multiple times the
HTML, then Text and then attachment tab!

Should i send you message and video?

Re: 9.2.5.4 Search in mail crashes with AV

Hello,

32bit: Using in a dark theme the Ctrl+F to search in mail cuases AV.
if no AV occurs the theme switching will generate a AV.

Any confirms?
