Hi list

So sad - GnuPG is still not supported correctly. When writing
encrypted messages I have to use an other mail client.

Any hope that GnuPG problems ware fixed soon?

Thank you.

GnuPG problems

2021-10-25 Thread Martin
Hi list

More and more I am getting problems with GnuPG and can't decrypt
messages.

GnUPG gives an error message (in German)

gpg: SetConsoleCP failed: Das Handle ist ungültig.
gpg: Warning: Garbled console data possible

Seems a problem how TheBat calls GnuPG.

TheBat shouldn't call it by command line any longer - please look in
this problem.

Hi

Exactly - I rechecked the gnupg.conf (I did not have "wdk" in
auto-key-locate) and changed to keyserver hkps://keys.openpgp.org as
well.

Seems to work - but there are still some keys missing.

Oh, this worked before. GnuPG fetches the missing key itself if the config
values in gpg.conf are used. And what do you mean with "PGP plugins"?

Would be more helpful to support GnuPG - PGP seems not to be up to date.

Hi Max

Send you mail as ascii file - perhaps you find the problem with the
different headers.

Seems that TheBat "thinks" that it contains a file and wants to store it as
file.

The problem was with the a encrypted and signed mail I GOT and which
TheBat couldn't decrypt. So it makes no sense when I send you a
encrypted mail from my TheBat.

Thanks, up and running.

My last issues #1956 and #1958 still there. Would be very happy if you
could look into the GnuPG problem. Thank you.

The "release" version is this one?

The Bat! 9.1 MSI files are available at:
https://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/thebat_32_9-1.msi
