Thank you for this update. I understand the decision. Maybe this can be
investigated after you get the level of improvements you are hoping for in IMAP.

Onward and upward.

Have a great day.

Well, it was better than no support for EWS. If EWS is not supported
at all, it is a show-stopper. We may or may not like EWS, but this is
reality. My university uses it, and I do need to have access to that
account.

We were not happy with the quality of it and were not inclined to spend
resources on improving it, so we have decided to focus on IMAP instead which
has room for improvement.

8.0.14 has been released without the EWS DLL. I promise that this will
cause unhappy customers, and complaints all over. After I downloaded
the DLL, EWS worked as usual, I didn't even need to restart TB!.

So I wonder what purpose it serves to not include it.

If TB! does not support EWS any more, I will have to use another email
client for that, and it wouldn't make sense to use two. I don't like
EWS, but I have to use it for one important account.

IOW it would be a show-stopper.

Currently TB!'s EWS support is fine, it does everything I need. I
suppose it would be no work for you to just leave it in. OK?
