Same here. More over, VF sorted by e-mail address has shown me e-mails from different people as well. They were visible there as long the message was Unread. When I write to the list and receive my mail back, it appears unread in the real TBBETA folder, but it is not shown at all in the virtual subfolder. As a consequence, the VF itself is not shown in bold font. Same thing happens when I manually mark one of my older mails in real folder as unread (Strg + U): The virtual folder is not shown in bold font indicating unread messages in it. Change of message status unread in the real folder makes the corresponding message in the virtual folder disappear: This is somehow strange. When I mark one of my own messages in the real TBBETA folder as unread, the representation of this mail in the virtual folder disappears. With pressing Strg + U I see the VF is being updated because the number of messages in the VF decreases by 1. When I check the folder contents of the VF afterwards, the mail that I just marked as unread in the real folder, is not there. Same thing happens when I set a flag to one of my mails in the real TBBETA-folder: The message counter of the VF showing my own mails is decreased by 1 and the previously flagged mail is not shown when I check the VF's content afterwards. This behaviour was not observed in 5.0.12.7. VF refresh does not help, but a program restart brings back every message in the VF. If you want to duplicate my settings here, you can set up VF 2 and VF 3 as given in my mail. My observations in brief: VF2 tracks all the notification mails (and a few more which match the filter conditions as well, but are no new-version-notification, so there's no software problem about that). VF3 tracks only some of the notification mails although there are many more in the TBBETA folder that would match the filter conditions as well. Main difference: VF2 filter is based on header fields, VF3 filter is based on a header field an text. I had direct correspondence with Stefan Tanurkov two months ago about this 'Text' search problem in VF filters. He could not confirm with the initial batch of messages I sent him to test, which I had found were not searched properly. I then sent him a much bigger batch but to date have had no response. Perhaps he thought the batch size of 5 Mb was too big to download, who knows? I attached a screenshot with my settings. Furthermore, I created a folder with exactly your settings from your previous mail. I observed that that folder displays even less messages than the folder whose settings I attached to this mail. The newest notification mails shown in this folder are the ones that announced the versions 5.0.12.4 .3 .2 5.0.0.153 .152 .151 .150 .138 .137 A few numbers: I'm subscribed to TBBETA since July 2008, the TBBETA folder contains 11.662 mails. Filtering for new version notifications like you do, Stefan, I get 80 messages in the VF. Filtering with the settings I attached to this mail, I get 89 messages in the VF. When I filter with settings that avoid text filter conditions (only header fields) I get 334 mails. I don't know exactly how many Alpha/Beta/Final-versions there were released since July 2008, but it's way more than 89. Cannot load 5.0.12.12!
I originally was able to load 5.0.12.12, even after a soft reboot. But after the electric went off and I had to restart, it would no longer load and I had to go back to 5.0.12.11 to get into my mail. I have reduced the size of the attachments so I can now send them to this list. I only have a POP3 account. I've attached the screen shot as requested (VF filter.gif). As you will see, it is effectively the same as the one you have. Did you manage to test yours against the 8Mb of messages I sent you as an attachment directly on 29th March? Maybe you did not receive it because it was too big? The filter searches the Tbbeta Requests folder for files containing the new version URL's. Accessing the same batch of files, version 4.2.44.2 moves 116 files to the VF, wnereas version 5.0.12.12 moves only 53. Using the same filter criteria, both the 'Find messages' and 'Incoming mail' filters find 116 files in both the above mentioned versions. I have also attached another screen shot (VF filter 1.gif) which searches the same source folder for files containing glyphs or icons. Version 4 finds 85 files and version 5 finds only 53.
