Ability to use old plugins with ANSI encoding
Hello tbbeta, hello Maxim, Older plugins work only with ANSI encoding of strings. Since 8.0 The Bat! uses Unicode. That is why plugins mostly fail. Some plugins are not supported by plugin author to be compiled to new Delphi code. In my case f.ex. XMP plugin does not work anymore to code german Umlauts correctly. Please, Maxim and Ritlabs devs, can something to be done with adding a Macro to use ANSI as encoding for string to be used as parameter in plugins.
