if I may again point to the script written by me which can be downloaded for

The script moves the exception log and ex_log.txt with useful information
into a ZIP file ready to be uploaded to a Mantis entry or sending directly per
mail to Ritlabs.
"Moves" means also that the files are being deleted, so that you don't have
to search the pertinent entry for your current problem in a long file.
One click does it all (I have a link on my Windows desktop in the lower
right corner, where it is always visible).
