outside glyph. Otherwise I have a mix from the internal and external
glyph.
Will this be changed in the final version?

You may use original as template.
I simply extract new batskin.xml from new beta's resources.
There is little undocumented feature in xml.

Sorry if I have missed something with the previous betas but doing some
testing I just realised that, at least 3.0.9.20 does not need the
new_icons.png file or any of the other 2 PNGs. I start TB without those
files being in the installation directory and TB does not complain and,
