this is most likely not a bug report, but something I
noticed, while testing this The Bat! version on several
html mails I received.... from my bank, from my
pension-authorities, from companies I get advertisements
I subscribed to ,and from this Beta folder.
1- Sometimes I see below in the bar the words 'html' and 'text',
and when changing from html to text mode, then of some emails
the message-text is nice formatted, sometimes it looks really
ugly; shorter sentences are spread over more lines, sometimes
a line contains only a few words of the sentence.
2- At html messages in this list, I see in the bar below:
HTML Text Parts.txt
The latter is added by the list server. But for example. in the
message from Gwen, I see:
Text Message.html Part.txt
3- Some html messages, for example advertisements, do
not have the option to change from html to text mode.
4- Other html messages do have the option to change mode,
but when I change mode, the text content is not at all shown,
sometimes only a link is shown.
5- When I change mode of the html message from my
pension authorities, I get in text mode a different message,
telling me:
PFZW has sent you an email in HTML format. There is a message waiting for you.
Your email client may not support it or you may have HTML disabled in your
settings.
6- Few messages received in text mode do not have the
option to view it in html mode, such as your messages
containing new versions of The Bat!.
So far a few observations.
