We have broadband at the office and anyway, I download from the POP server on the LAN, so size is no problem. At home, I use a DUN connection, and I don't usually need to see these mails with the large attachments. Sometimes I do, so the relatively new download URL comes in very handy. How do I tell whether I need to download that mail with all the attachments? I scroll down to the subject line and see what it's about. Now, with TB 3.65.01, I don't need to do that any more, very convenient. (By the way, with Eudora I can also download the first x number of lines in the body. Sometimes I do want to read the text but don't care for the attachments. So with TB, I need to download the whole mail with attachments, but Eudora will already show me the first 20 lines or whatever I've put in my settings. That's even better, but I'm not complaining.) There is a small (minor, cosmetic) thing I would like to mention about the subject line. The original subject is: PRE-ALERT It becomes: [LARGE MESSAGE] PRE-ALERT (Large message arrived to your address) I think one mentioning of Large message would be enough. I reported this on behalf of a German correspondent of mine in regard to v. 3.64.03. The template that isn't working for him is: -Template %QINCLUDE=PrGreeting %Cursor %QINCLUDE=SigEPr %ENCRYPTCOMPLETE %LANGUAGE=BR %ACCOUNT=Puretec -Template He has sent me a report this morning that v. 3.65 still doesn't work correctly with respect to templates, QT's and macros. The only difference in his template for me from the one he uses for other English-speaking correspondents is the line %ENCRYPTCOMPLETE . For them, the AB template functions--for them, though, TB! is not asked to encrypt. He is using PGP/MIME, if that might be relevant, although my thinking is that it is not relevant. TB! will not call this template. Instead, for my address, it calls his template for German-speaking correspondents in v. 3.65, as it did in v. 3.64.03. Note besides, that this AB template for me worked in v. 3.64.01, before the update to v. 3.64.03. But upon dropping back to v. 3.64.01, the functioning of his AB template for me remained broken. 1/10/2006 5:25 PM The Bat! v3.65 MSI Hi All I am really struggling with the validity of releasing untested MSIs. I agree that it is totally within RIT's right to do so but it sure doesn't seem like a good practice. This MSI has too many problems for me to consider installing it as I do not have the time to mess with it. It has only been due to almost 8 years of TB usage that I can tolerate these types of decisions without jumping ship. I hope this can be reevaluated with a high priority on tested stability for MSI releases. This isn't a release is it hoping? -- Dwight A. Maxim, On 10-01-2006 18:37, you [MM] wrote in mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED]: MM What's new since 3.64.04 BETA Just a single question: Are you going to do some sorely needed work on IMAP any time soon? I'd like to remind you gentlemen at Ritlabs (actually only the heads of marketing and development) that IMAP was promised as of version 2. Now we are nearly at version 4 and still no working IMAP. I'd appreciate if you will forward this message to the relevant parties, Max.
