No, some are so obscure that I did not bother to follow further -- as long as

this is probably not an issue of the beta process:
the status line at the bottom of the TheBat! window is gone, which tells me
when the last fetch or send had taken place and how many messages had been
moved on that occasion.
How could that happen? How do I get it back?
