Hi list
I found a problem with "Viewer Profile". I have set up two different
profiles. But how to make one them the default for an account or folder?
Seems to me that this doesn't stick.

The current beta does not remember a set Viewer Mode, i.e. whenever
I open mail form the Mail Ticker - for which I have defined a mode
to show threads open, sorted by reference in order from oldest to
newest - I get all threads closed. A look into the menu for Viewer

I don't use html so I have done little testing with HTML templates and
QTs but, if things are as you describe, I agree with you that HTML
formatting should prevail over anything else.

But why TB changes this in Quick template or standard templates
automatically?
When I open editor, it has different Viewer profile, so I really lost in
what I really get in output :-(

If I see well, viewer profiles are associated with charsets. Or not?
That is the only parameter that you can associate with them.

Using The Bat! 4.0.0.19 (BETA) [Pro] on Windows XP
4.0.19: I think, I found the source of the problem. Background color
of the current viewer profile is not handled properly until you
restart TB. So, change the background color of a viewer profile and
open some mails that you opened before the change of color. It will
still use that color. For new
4.0.19: I changed the background color for profile no 1. Now that I go
thru my mails, some emails' background is still the old color, some
have the new... Also, sometimes when I right click to see the assigned
viewer profile, the color shows me it is profile 1, but the tick is
besid
