Sorry for the cross posting, but i figured someone somewhere might
have an answer to this.
I have just switched from a windows 98 machine to one with XP Pro, and
i have made a backup of my TB settings using the built-in backup tool.
When i made the backup, i chose to backup

I'm having a problem getting mail today. It's weird. When I click
Dispatch mail, the window appears, but just stays there. When I click
Get Mail, the connection centre appears, it says:
Status: Checking INBOX
And just stays like that indefinitely. Elapsed says 00:01 and doesn't

Further to my post on the TWEAK, please, if you try this, take the
ORIGINAL copy of the unmodified executable [thebat.exe] and rename it
to [thebat_orig.exe] so that you have a working original to go back
to. The modified file (X-Mailer changed) needs to be called
[thebat.exe]
