Try deleting or renaming the bayesit folder. For a long time that
folder was somehow a problem and I couldn't get started.

No, but there are a huge abundance of addressbook fields, any one of
which can be recycled as VAT. I use mine

nothing helped.
I saw that some ppl use the 3.60.02 BETA version. That version works
again.
