Thanks for that.  You're absolutely right, that works a treat in
ordinary folders.

I realised though, that my problem is with virtual folders.  It's been
so long since I used the underlying "real" folders that I'd forgotten
all about this.

I guess this is just a limitation of virtual folders?  Along with
going stale etc.  etc.  - but they're just so useful I can put up with
all that.
