Sorry meant Service Pack 2, not 3, for Windows XP ok... i know what happened... I attempted to disable the firewall while thebat was still open and it didnt take... just tried it and it THEN opened the bat and the problematic emails finally went out... Going to try and see about setting custom rules for the firewall where the bat is concerned since I actually like so far how the integrated firewall is working out for me...
