Interesting way to solve hanging mail problems

Okay, I found a very interesting way to solve the hanging mail problem.  I 
load TB! then it hangs.... so I hit abort/No and then wait a minute, then 
hit the actual tool bar button that says, Get Mail and it doesn't 
hang.  Weird I know, but it works!
