I like my apps to specialize and do their jobs well for what they were intended rather than be a "do all" but nothing awesome (Outlook). BUT I also see the benefit of having the cal in the client, especially in a corporate type environment where emails contain meeting times and task deadlines. If so, TB! has room for > improvement IMHO. I think this is the real issue here with me. I love TheBat but guess I get a little remise when I see nice GUI's in some of the clients out there. I even like the interface of the open source Chandler and some of the things they are doing to handle efficiency, but they have a long way to go before that thing is functional as a mail client.
