Yes. Go to Windows Control Panel, select Add/Remove Programs, find ZA and hit 'remove'. You shouldn't have anymore problems after that. now i've removed zonealarm via control panel / software. but no action takes place. i've opened the property tab of my current internet connection so

15 seconds is a very short time. Many ISP's will not allow such frequent polling of their servers. Have you tried using a longer time period? but there no one attept to check for mails. i could understand if after the second check for mails or so my isp would disable it. but no check is
