It sounds easy, and humans do it with little apparent effort, but it
is actually a complex problem. You want to do what I, and many others,
want to do. I played with this for a while and the best solution I
could find was a free program (Spam Bouncer) that runs under Unix (I'm
not recommending this to you, just illustrating what it seems to
take).

Anyway, if you look at this code it is MANY pages of rather complex
stuff (hint re complexity - almost every line is filled with regular
expressions :-). And this code is updated every few weeks to keep up
with the latest spammer techniques.

The good news is that it works quite well - I get a very high rate of
correct filtering for this - but to do that well takes quite a lot of
code. I don't believe it is reasonable to expect this level of
performance with the simple filtering in TB.

But, when TB allows external filter scripts... can't wait :-).
