I empty all my junk folders into the Spam folder and all my Trash folders go to Ham. I keep both 'trimmed' to between 1500 and 2000 messages. That ends up being about 4 to 6 weeks for me. That means that I always have a relatively current set of messages to train from ... as opposed to a static copus that is months out of date.
