Hi all, In one of my almost inactive email accounts where I have no filters defined, I decided to create a filter for a newsletter that I regularly receive. I decided to create the filter in the outgoing message filter set. I created the filter using the sender info and indicated the folder to which I wanted the messages to be filtered to. I then ran a re-filter operation on the Inbox using the outgoing filter set and bam, it worked. It moved all the newsletter mail to their new folder. This may be good for Douglas since TB! does allow you to create manual filter sets of sorts, though this isn't explicitly stated. You may create some of your manual filters in the outgoing filter set so that you may run them separately from those that you created in the incoming filter set. -- * Ali Martin mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** Prune: A plum that has seen better days. *** Using The Bat! v1.38 Beta/4 [-] Windows NT 4.0 (Service Pack 6) -- -------------------------------------------------------------- View the TBUDL archive at http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com To send a message to the list moderation team double click here: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To Unsubscribe from TBUDL, double click here and send the message: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> --------------------------------------------------------------
