A strange thing has happened. Suddenly I am no longer able to select multiple messages in the message list with Ctrl-click! I can select a contiguous span of messages with Shift-click, but with Ctrl-click the 1st selected message stays selected, subsequent Ctrl-clicks highlight the 2nd message while being clicked, but the selection does not stay.
