Macro - more than one recipient

2009-01-06 Thread Paul Meathrel
Hi all,

I'm trying to work out whether it is possible within a template to establish
whether there is more than one recipient in the To list using a macro. I can't
see how I might achieve this using a macro, so I thought that I would ask here.

Ignoring Spelling errors beyond a point

2009-01-06 Thread Paul Meathrel
Hi all,

I was wondering whether there was any way that I could prevent the automatic
Spellchecker from scanning beyond a specific point in a template. For example
when I create a new message there are some abbreviations in my signature (after
the dash-dash) which are reported as errors every time I spell check a message.
I don't want to add them to the dictionary because in another context they
might be in correct spellings. Similarly when replying to a message I want to
prevent spell checking of the original message. Is there a macro that I could
use to help with this - %STOPSPELLCHECK for example!? Any help would be
appreciated!

Yep, that's possible.

%RegExpBlindMatch='%ToList'%-
%If:%SubPatt='3':Multiple recipients present:No multiple recipients

Has anyone else had The Bat crash after up/down grading to 4.1.7?

2009-01-06 Thread Richard L de S Clauson
Since I've had an abortive attempt to move from 4.0.38 to 4.1.7 (and then
reverting to the former version) I have had a problem opening the Address
Book. Every time I attempt this The Bat! crashes with the following error
message:

Access violation at address 0072374C in module ‘thebat.exe’. Read of address
000C.

I'll raise this with the RitLabs Ticket system, but thought I'd ask here in
case anyone can provide a quick solution. I have reverted to a previous
version of the Address Book files, taken from a backup taken just before the
upgrade, but to no effect.

Thanks,

Richard

How can I copy ALL my filters betwwn in/outbox

2009-01-06 Thread tracer
Hello Roelof,

Probably a silly question but I don't see it in the help files.
I am busy setting up filters for Incoming mail and I want to use
more or less similar ones for outgoing mail but main problem is I
  have many mailboxes..
Assuming I create them all by hand for mail coming in, what's the
easiest way to copy the lot to outgoing mail and then fix them by
  hand...

After I had installed there was no executable so no crash (g), just no
email.
I restored by running a reinstall of the old version. NO other changes
but note you may have a slightly different problem from me as my mail
databases didn't get changed by the first upgrade... I don't know
what happened in your case.

As I said, I installed the bat 4.1.13, 4.1.15 and 4.1.17 if I remember
correctly and none worked as they should as NO executable was
generated. So I have no idea what else worked or didn't work. I went
back to 4.0.38 and things worked but no idea if this is standard.

overriding reply to header?

2009-01-06 Thread Dwight A Corrin
I just joined a list which sets the return to header is set to the
sender instead of the list. My past experience with lists which take
this annoying tack is that I forget, and reply to the sender not the
list. Is there a way I can override this and have my replies go to
list?
