My goal is not to disable autocomplete, but to avoid user input being 
automatically over-written by the ill-mannered software. Picture this:

Scenario #1:
User inputs a text and offered some suggestions from the drop-down menu.

Scenario #2:
User inputs a text that is being automatically replaced by the naive 
matching algorithm.

1st one is the helpful feature while the 2nd one is the hostile behaviour.

Actually, you can adjust it in the preferences - Viewer/Editor - Header fields 
- To/CC/BCC - Complete automatically...

"To" address line is being over-written while editing

Steps to reproduce:

1. Select a sent message
2. Use "edit as new"
3. Start adjusting "To" field with an address that is similar to one 
   present in an address book
4. TB silently replaces your edit with one from the address book

Work-around: type address in a text editor and paste into TB field...

Can anyone confirm?
