Moving Messages from full window view
Hi there, I often read new e-mails in full screen view and would like to move them to the appropriate folder. The only way to do this I found is using Message|move to folder. Is there an easier way to do this, like adding a button to the toolbar or assigning a shortcut to the function? -- TIA Chris The Bat! v1.62r on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 1 Current version is 1.62r | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Pop mail
I have been successful in downloading mail from safe-mail but unable to send. I am able to Pop3 download and send via yahoo. After contacting the techs at safe-mail they advised: Another customer of us has difficulties sending from TheBat, but finally he configured successfully. You should use the following configuration: Outgoing mail server: www.safe-mail.net This server requires secure communication: On Port: 465 This server requires authentication: On User name: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Password: You safe-mail account's password. But it isn't working. I am hoping the person who was successful is on the list and that he and others have some additional suggestions that will help me get this working. Configure TB to run NAV 2003 in conjunction with Spampal
Good Evening, As the very first post ever I apologise if I don't get it right. I would very much appreciate guidance on how I configure TB to run Norton AV 2003 whilst using Spampal. For those not familar with Spampal [ free spam killer app ] it sits between your email client and the Net and intercepts all traffic and using bayesian plugins it sorts out the Spam. I have had an email spoofed 2x in past 6mths and am therefore loathe to run email client without AV capability. Back to the point, Spampal requires 'MailServer' to be set to 'LocalHost' and 'User' to be set as follows in my case: CharlesDWOsullivan//[EMAIL PROTECTED]. What I can't resolve is how I incorporate the pop3.norton.antivirus that appears from my searching to be required for TB to activate AV. All help much appreciated. Version 2.0 introduces changes in accounts and I recommend to wait for Stefan's announcement with described changes and plans for next betaversions. -- Bye Marek Mikus Czech support of The Bat! http://www.thebat.cz Using the best The Bat! 2.0 Alpha/4 under Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 1 AMD ThunderBird 1,2 GHz, 512 MB RAM Current version is 1.62r | Using TBUDL information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Actually, it is not in my list of standard ports, but then, my list is a few years old. Where can I get an updated list? It's just that nowadays STARTTLS has become more widespread. Have a copy of Outlook Express handy? No, I never installed it. The Install Wizzard opens in Chinese... When selecting to secure the communication, it uses STARTTLS if you enter Port 25 for the SMTP server. Any other port will make OE use SMTPS, which means that the entire connection is SSLed, including greeting etc... Then the settings I suggested to Elaine should be correct. -- Cheers, Thomas.
