zzc Or get The Bat! to look at another directory for the mail

Options | Preferences | System | Mail Directory... then browse
for your mail directory.

I have The Bat! installed on a partition with all my other
applications. I keep my e-mail and newsgroup databases on another
partition just for them, so my set up is similar.

If you upgrade or reinstall you won't need to do this again.

Footnotes in TB!?

2005-04-09 Thread Ralph Inselsbacher
Hello TBUDL,

i tried to got footnotes to work in TB! with the quick templates from
here:
http://www.thebatworld.de/system/sections/index.php?op=viewarticleartid=66

However, when i select all, cut to clipboard and try fn (strg-space), TB!
is killed all of a sudden. Has anyone tried this out already?

Fixed, was a mistake of mine.

But another problem occured: When the text is inserted again with fn
(strg-space), it is just an unformatted one-liner. When i hit alt-L to
format it, i just get a blocked text, with absolutely no formatting that
it had before

I use a quick template called cookie that looks like this:

%wrapped=%cookie=c:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Roman\Anwendungsdaten\The
Bat!\cookies.txt

This, in turn, is called in new message templates.

The text you're grabbing the cookie from can have \n control seqences in
it so that before wrapping, the line breaks where you want it.

Roman

Sorry, but can you explain that in a little more detail? What does it help
me footnotes? Is cookies.txt empty?... If easier for you, you can explain

%REM= fn - Footnotes for The Bat! v3

This is a Quick Template for the mail reader The Bat! that
   helps you insert footnotes.

When composing an e-mail use tags like

  | This is some (FN:text#) with (FN:footnotes#).

and when finished copy everything into clipboard (ctrl+a,
ctrl+c) and execute this Quick Template by typing fn +
ctrl+space. This is what you get:

  | This is some [1] with [2].
  |
  | [1] text
  | [2] footnotes

Account configurations files for v2.x vx v1.x

2005-04-09 Thread z5worg
I have the following Account files in v2.x for some of the Accounts:

~flb cfg cfn flb fld flx fpf his log m_d m_r srt and srx

In some accounts, I also have ~fb.

I assume log is connection log; and his is history (history of
what?).

Would someone please tell me what the other extensions are? And which
ones, if any, are not necessary for v2.x?

For those extensions that are the same for v1.x and v2.x, which ones
have different content -- since v2.x has more configuration options than
1.x?

My bad. I thought you meant cookie for some reason.
However, you can use the %wrapped macro to wrap your footnores, I suppose.
