That one unfortunately does not work!  Thought maybe I had made a typo, so I
copied the above exactly (yes I know the address etc. will be wrong), and
the From field in a replied mail still only had the GMail addy.

Am I missing something here?

I've found the origin of the problem : the %CURSOR in the template becomes @ in 
the editor !

What can I do ?

Second problem : if I delete the template in preferences of account for new 
mail, I can't create a mail anymore with this account ! %BLANK does not work 
too !

I'm tired of always new bugs on new versions !

From the wrapping of your message I assume you are using the Windows
editor?

But anyway... I just set my editor prefs to the Windows Editor (I normally
use MicroEd), and I don't have any @ where the %CURSOR macro is.

Are you absolutely sure that you haven't defined another reply template,
for example if you have an addressbook entry in TB, or a folder template,
or... ?
