Help with IMAP
Hi all After a brief flirtation with Thunderbird I've come back to TB! I particularly didn't like the fact that AVG couldn't scan any of my incoming mail. I assume that because of TB's plugin it does? Can anyone tell me if Bayesit works with an IMAP connection? And, if so, where is the Junk Folder best placed, locally or on the server? And how does Bayesit know the location? That'll do for now! -- Best regards Barry barryh'at'kentra'dot'co'dot'uk Using TheBat! version 3.62.10 and BayesIt! 0.8.4 Release Current version is 3.62.14 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Well, yes, but there is a plugin for TB and as I wasn't aware of an AV program that actually worked with Thunderbird and IMAP so I decided to go back to a program that does. (I hope!) It seems that there are plenty of AV programs that will work easily with POP email, but IMAP seems less well supported. -- Best regards Barry barryh'at'kentra'dot'co'dot'uk Using TheBat! version 3.62.14 and BayesIt! 0.8.4 Release Current version is 3.62.14 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Smart Bat Time Stamp
Greets, Does anyone know if it has ever been entered into the wish list to make the auto time stamp when Smart Bat opens optional? I seem to recall it being discussed before but don't remember if it was ever entered. Re: Redo not working?
Hello rich, When I recently needed to restore something I just undid a second before I noticed that there is no undo in the edit menu. So I had a look in the customizer, and saw it should be there (in a microed edit window I did customize-MainMenu, that's where I found the Redo just below Undo, set as not hidden). What's going on there? MM Redo is not supported in MicroEd, only in Windows and HTML editor, You MM can add it, but of course, it will ot work. Try CTRL-Z... Even in MicroEd it works here! v2.12 This is obviously a misunderstanding. As I wrote in a reply to my original message I meant REDO that is not working, not UNDO... -- Martin TB! 3.62.12 on Windows XP 5.1 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.62.14 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

If you switch the account, the new template of that account may be used used (as long as you haven't made any manual changes to the message yet). Try to remove it and see what happens. okay. I tried to play with it a bit. If I do the 'send by email' in the browser, a requester from TB! pops up asking me which account to use. If I use my main account 'Jurgen' and try to send the mail to my girlfriend, then it works (that was the macro I posted). When I do the same but choose the account 'MailingLists' for instance, and then still try to send it to my girlfriend, THEN the url disappears. So yes, you are right it is the account-switching. If I would remove that, then the mail would work, but it would be send from the MailingLIsts acount, which I don't want. Is that a 'feature' of TB to work that way (meaning I have to accept that) or can something be done with the macro? here again the macro: %QINCLUDE=AddRogue%ACCOUNT=Jurgen%NOUSEPGP Hallo Carinne %Cursor - Bis bald, He is deleting the content, because I am telling in this macro to write something into the body, right? With the text and the %cursor, maybe, too? IS there like a macro or a function that would ADD instead of REPLACE, or the likes? I can reproduce the problem by using the send link by email option from Opera and simply changing the recipient to someone that has his own template or is member of an AB group with a different template, and I have no %ACCOUNT macro in it. I consider this a bug. If the content has already been edited, changing the account, recipient, or whatever, should not apply the template again, and in fact, this is already the case for normal messages. If I haven't typed anything into the message body itself and switch the recipient, the new template is applied. But if I already edited the message, there will be no changes. Seems like TB does not treat the URL as edit - and thats wrong. Since you discovered it, do you want the fame (and save me the hassle;-) and open a report on the BugTracker, or shall I do that? -- Best regards, Alexander (http://www.neurowerx.de - ICQ 238153981) Deliplayer2 is playing: Molecular Modelling (7:58) by Lassigue Bendthaus from the 1994 album 'Render' Current version is 3.62.14 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
