Please implement a DRAFT folder

2005-12-11 Thread MAU
Hello all,

As an alternative to the new option introduced in v3.63.09 (latest Beta)
to disallow copying and moving messages to Outbox, I would like to
propose what I consider a much more elegant and intuitive solution: the
implementation of a _real_ DRAFT folder.

Changing the Folder Pane font

2005-12-11 Thread Paul Meathrel
Hi all,

I was after a piece of advice regarding the Folder pane. I have managed to
change the fonts of the message preview pane and the message list pane, however
I don't seem to be able to find a setting to change the font in which the
folders are displayed. Does such a setting exist or am I unable to find it. I
am using version 3.62.14.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

Options/Preferences/System and then Account Tree fonts down the bottom.
I agree, I wish all the fonts could be lumped in one place, it would
make life a lot easier.

Yes, I still haven't adjusted to going to Options to get the Preferences, for
some reason I always go to Tools first! I guess it because most MS applications
have the preferences in that location.

Re: Template against Folder broken?

2005-12-11 Thread MAU
Hello Paul,

Whilst I am on a roll with questions, here is another. Against the
folder in which TBUDL messages are stored I have a Template set
(Folder properties - Template tab). However when I have that folder
highlighted and I do a CTRL-N the new message doesn't
  use the template!

This may be the reason you sent your message to TBBeta and not to TBUDL,
which is where I assume you intended to send it.

Smart Bat column alignment

2005-12-11 Thread Richard Wakeford
Hello,

How do you get columns to align in smart bat?

I have one page which is meant to have columns in it. However Smat Bat
behaves like MicroEd in that, if you don't have line spaces, all lines
become one the moment you start to edit.

do all my editing by copying to Word, making adjustments to the columns,
and pasting back in. It doesn't matter if I use tabs or the space bar or
convert it to columns in Word. It still shows as a misaligned mess when
pasting back into Smart Bat.

I can't write it directly into Smart Bat as I don't want a line space
between each line of information. That would necessitate far too much
scrolling up and down.

It would be good to have the same choices as in MicroEd and to be able
to turn off the autoformat and autowrap facilities.

RN After backing up, try an uninstall and reinstall. If you've
RN already done that, do an uninstall, remove all references to TB or
RN RitLabs from your registry with regedit, reinstall. Technique #2
RN seems to always correct anomalies in individual machines.

FWIW, I had to uninstall, removing the message base (after backing
up). Then I renamed The Bat! program folder and installed into a new
folder. That finally did the trick.

Cannot Assign ENTER as keyboard shourcut

2005-12-11 Thread Chris

I was trying to switch the behavior of Shift+F2 (Queue in Outbox) and
Ctrl+Enter (Send Now). Using the Customizer, I found the correct
entries. However, when I tried to assign Ctrl+Enter to Queue in
Outbox, I found that pressing ENTER was the same as clicking the
Assign button. Therefore, I could not add the shortcut. Is there some
trick to do this, or is this a bug?

I think what Richard meant is that he wants all of TB's various font
configurations in ONE configuration page (like in Opera, for example), and
not scattered throughout the config pages, one font setting here, one font
setting there...
