Marking Messages as SPAM in Macro
Hello TB! Users, I am using AntipamSniper to filter spam, which is fairly successful against the rising tide of vgr, pump dump and bank phishing spam messages. I report via Spamcop, so I have a common filter that forwards messages on to Spamcop. I wanted to automatically mark messages as Spam in the same filter to catch some of the ones not caught by AntispamSniper, but I cannot find a macro action for this. Any ideas? I was going to look at MyMacros, but I cannot find a working link to this. Does anyone have one? -- Julian Using The Bat! v3.85.03 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.85.03 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Export messae to file using filter - stopped working
Since recent version of TB a filter I have had set up seems to not be working anymore. I have as part of filter, the content of the message appended to a plain text file - the contents of which I then process to provide a summary of online orders. Now all I am getting is two bytes (looks like a carriage return) sent to the file each time the filter triggers. The other actions in the filter work fine - a redirect, a colour group setting and a move to different 'processed' folder. Can't see all IMAP folders
Hi. I'm trying out The Bat! While I'm impressed with how feature-rich it is, I'm having a persistent problem in getting The Bat! to show all my IMAP folders. It wants to show only subscribed folders, but that's not what I need. I want it to show me all my folders. I've had no problem with other email clients in this respect: Mulberry, Pegasus, Thunderbird, even Pine show all my folders. But so far I haven't been able to figure out how to get The Bat! to do this. (Perhaps I should add that the only reason I've subscribed any folders is so that I can have access to them via a Webmail interface while I'm travelling. I definitely do NOT want to have to subscribe all my folders in order for them to be seen in The Bat. Surely, if all these other email clients can do this, The Bat! must be able to do so, too. I just need some help in figuring out how to do this.) Thanks in advance for your help. __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! If in fact The Bat! requires that I subscribe in order to see folders, I guess I will stop trying out The Bat! since it won't meet my needs. I have a fairly complex arrangement on IMAP that involves, among other things, temporary folders that appear only when they contain new mail. Right now, The Bat! is showing me a number of those folders that shouldn't be there at all since they don't contain new messages. Having used this system very successfully for many years, I don't want to completely change the way I do things just to be able to use The Bat! I need an email client that will show me all my IMAP folders without my having to subscribe, and I'm quite surprised that The Bat! doesn't do that, since every other mail client I've ever used for IMAP does. Oh well As far as Webmail, I can still see all my folders in webmail even if I don't subscribe to the folder in TheBat! In the Webmail interface my university makes available, I have to subscribe to any folder I want to see. When I'm travelling (which is the only time I use Webmail), I don't need access to all my folders, just about 30 or so that are likely to receive new mail, so I subscribed to those, including some that are normally temporary. That's fine for travelling, but not for my day-to-day use. Again, many thanks for your quick response.
