My IMAP accounts work almost the same as POP when selecting messages. Hi Stuart Yes I do have high speed. It seems to me that if I there are mails on the server that have been read previously by another PC they seem to be flagged as read on the server and then when I check them with TB! it only downloads the header (even though I have it set to download the full message) and the envelope icon is greyed out. -- Best regards Barry barryh'at'kentra'dot'co'dot'uk Using TheBat! version 3.95.06 and AntispamSniper 1.7.0.8 Current version is 3.99 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

In Manage IMAP folders I have a check mark in Subscribed and in Synchronize and I have Full Messages selected. If you have that as well it could be the server you are connecting to. You may also want to check your Account options to see what you synchronize settings are. -- Stuartmailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Using The Bat! v3.99.8 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.99 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: Voyager as default email client?

There, see whether you can set the program for Mail to Voyager. No, only three options, none of which is Voyager. This is a bit as expected, as I believe IE looks in the registry for email programs. Voyager isn't supposed to announce its presence in the registry. The reason is that the concept for Voyager is to be a travel tool, and you won't want to fiddle with the registry of the host system. Understood, and it is an interesting experience. What would happen if a mailto: is called while the stick with Voyager is not connected? It would fail to automatically send the mail. Something it does now *all* the time, since I don't use any other email client. But at least it wouldn't open up Outlook ((shudder)). Well. There was a question recently (not sure whether it was on this list or on TBBETA) why Ritlabs develops two programs in parallel, The Bat! and Voyager. I think this answers the question. ;-) -- Cheers, Thomas. Current version is 3.99 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Re: HTML reply format
In reply to mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] : T Hello all, T I asked this before and I'll ask again now because there where a few updates. T I really hate those big blue vertical bars when replying to a HTML message. T They look bad, take up much space and act weird when trying to delete some text. Options-Prefrences-HTML-editor shows a type of layout I'm looking for. T How can I use that layout? I think JUST like you do. Those vertical bars are awful. -- Best regards, Goncalo Farias Remember, to a computer 1 + 1 = 10. log files
I am setting up again my backup system and found 2 large log files in theBat as part of the protocol logging: pop.log and smtp.log (800MB and 500MB). Do I need these files, should I back them up, or can I get rid of them by deactivating? Is there a way to keep them for only a few days? -- Best regards, Peter The BAT 3.99.8, Windows XP Service Pack 2 Current version is 3.99 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
