H is it possible to export and import filters? Yes, select the filter and copy it to the clipboard with ctrl+C. Go to the other account and select the destination (eg. Hi Peter, Hi Harald, H is it possible to export and import filters? Yes, select the filter and copy it to the clipboard with ctrl+C. Go to the other account and select the destination (eg. Re[2]: Exporting filters?
Hi, Also, you can use the 'share with..' option, right? HF Where is that option hidden? He's mistaken with quick templates, those can be shared with other accounts. Filters cannot, though you can create common filters, they can be used by all accounts. That's correct. Common filters are set up and used with 4 Accounts as per my requirement. I believe that the 'share with..' option appears only for common filters. QT's can be shared among accounts as well as used for mass mailing too. -- best regards rizvi Current version is 3.99.27.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

H is it possible to export and import filters? In addition to the advice about copying and pasting between accounts, you can also copy and then paste into Notepad or other text editor for saving. Problem with Certain Characters in Mail
Hello TB User Discussion List, I'm having problems with mail containing characters outside the range of decimal 32-127. I try to capture the mail by executing my editor, gVim, with %1 as the file argument. I also tried exporting to a Unix Mailbox and then editing that file. Both cases have character translations - for example I see several =20 sequences which are not in the sent mail. Other users are able to read these mails without problems. One such user wrote: At least for mutt, you can perform a decoding save via EscC and the resulting file will be fine. I'm not sure if The Bat! has something similar, but I'd think most mail clients should. Might just have to dig around in the docs. Does anyone know how to do this with The Bat!? -- Best regards, Bill TB! Is this in received mail? I had a similar problem in Agent under Widows, and very occasionally under Claws in Linux. Backup Query
Hello Everyone, I am using the scheduler to back up my email with the output file being xxx.tbk. I also regularly backup my whole folder set under application data. In the past when I had to reinstall my OS (XP) I got everything up and running quickly by copying the full folder set. I also experimented with having the mail directory moved from one drive to another one under preferences and that worked fine too. I never used the ..tbk file to restore and I am just curious what the difference is between backing up via ...tbk file or via saving the mail directory? Any advantages or disadvantage of one over the other? -- Best regards, Tom using TheBat! 3.99.29 on XP Current version is 4.0.0.22 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
