Can't save message file...
Hi Can anyone offer any suggestion why I am getting this error message whilst I'm receiving mail? !24/02/2010, 10:33:05: FETCH - could not store message (file name - C:\DOCUME~1\Barry\LOCALS~1\Temp\bat4286.tmp) I've checked the TEMP folder in question, it's by no means full, probably about 50 files amounting to a few hundred KB -- Best regards Barry barryh'at'kentra'dot'co'dot'uk Using TheBat! version 4.2.23 and AntispamSniper 3.2.2.1 Current version is 4.2.23 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html

Hallo BJH, On Wed, 24 Feb 2010 10:47:57 GMTGMT (24-2-2010, 11:47 +0100, where I live), you wrote: B !24/02/2010, 10:33:05: FETCH - could not store message (file name - B C:\DOCUME~1\Barry\LOCALS~1\Temp\bat4286.tmp) Most likely your virus scanner is interfering. My suggestion would be to delete the offending message either with the mail dispatcher or with webmail. -- Groetjes, Roelof In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. http://www.voormijalleen.nl/ The Bat! 4.2.35 Windows Vista 6.0 Build 6002 Service Pack 2 6 pop3 accounts, 1 imap account OTFE enabled Quad Core 2.4GHz 4 GB RAM pgpRcHRF6Pv3J.pgp Description: PGP signature Current version is 4.2.23 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
Server error 5.7.1: missing or literal domains not allowed
I have, so far, three people with whom I correspond to whom I cannot reply. The message that is returned is: Server reports error. The response is 5.7.1. Missing or literal domains not allowed. I can send e-mail to these people directly out of my address book to exactly the same address. My work around is to compose a response as I normally do and then copy and paste the text into a new message. This is a pain. If the problem spreads to other people's addresses, it will be a big pain. I will appreciate any wisdom that can be shed on this problem. Thanks. -- Leonard S.
