None (though it uses either CP-1252 or the Windows ANSI codepage for
characters 128..255).

It's been pointed out to me that the characters at the end of the
attribution line are different in the source viewer than the message
viewer, "escribió" and "escribió" as shown here in a .jpg:-

The version in the message viewer looks correct but gives a "bad"
signature. The version in the source viewer looks incorrect but gives
a "good" signature.

Why would a couple of characters change between the view in the source
viewer and that in the message viewer? The message viewer is using
utf-8 for this message. What character set does the source viewer use?
(All I can determine is "script: Western" in the font selection
dialogue box.)

OpenPGP - bad signature in message viewer but good signature in source viewer

2010-06-28 Thread MFPA
Hi

I've encountered some pgp-signed messages that show up as "bad
signature" when I press the button in TB! to verify them, and also
show a "bad signature" if I use GPGshell's current window
decrypt/verify/import function in the message viewer window.
Strangely, exporting the same message to an .msg file and verifying
directly with gpg shows a "good signature," as does using GPGshell's
current window decrypt/verify/import when viewing the message source
in TB!

I have uploaded an example message showing this issue to
https://www.yousendit.com/download/K0JUS3dnUzhVVGxjR0E9PQ where it
should be available until 5th July. Can anybody replicate the issue?
