I am so glad you could solve it. Your posting is a keeper.

S Thanks!
S One thing I noticed today was that TB was no longer associated as
S the default mail program and didn't show up as a choice in the default
program list.
S When I clicked an email address in my browser, nothing would
S happen and it didn't work with mailto either.

That's probably because Windows still had it recognised at the old
location. Or had deleted the association when you tried to delete TB!
several times.

S After checking that TB had the associations checked correctly in
S the preferences, I ran a repair in the uninstall a program
S section of the control panel, and now it once again shows up in the
S default program list.

That makes sense. I would have recommended you unassociate it and then
reassociate it to TB!. Uninstalling and reinstalling should work, but
it's a bit radical... Well, if all is fine now then all is fine. ;-)

S This was probably due to TB installing to the D drive (usb stick)
S and me then manually moving over the folders from there to the C drive.

Yes, probably. You should not manually move files used by any app, you
should do it from within the app. I think TB! is not the only one in
this respect.

This was a good learning experinece, and I am glad everything worked
out well in the end!

Command Error

2010-12-03 Thread Tim Hamm
Hello Tbudl,

Here it goes again, only I don't have Firefox loaded only IE8. I'm
receiving this error command from TB when trying to launch an URL in
TB. The error message reads: An error occurred in sending the
command to the application. I received this error before when I had
Firefox and IE8 installed at the same time but couldn't resolve the
issue so I uninstalled Firefox and everything was working fine until
today. I just recently reinstalled TB only a few days ago and now
this. I don't know what to make of it only that it has to do with
  TB.
