The difference is that when you've mounted the

matter whether they're Santa's 'good' or 'bad' list)
can access your message base. When you're using
OTFE you're message base can only be accessed by TB and
 it's plug-ins.

Interesting - I'd not thought of that. Doesn't TB! need to place a
decrypted version of a file in a temp directory while actually working
 with/editing it?

Well, since I believe that OTFE stands for On The Fly Encription I
imagine that whole files are not decrypted, but instead TB has a sort of
builtin driver to access the mail database while only decrypting and
encrypting a buffer at a time.

Text not maroon when pasted as quotation

2011-01-06 Thread Susanne
Hi,

I just noticed recently that text I paste into an email as a quotation no
longer shows in the default color for quotations, but just as black text with a
few thrown in.

I checked in the preferences, but nothing has changed there.
Quoted text is supposed to show in maroon.

Is there anything I can do to get this back the way it was?

Nope, I have no problem with quoted text here. However, I'm seeing a
problem every now and then with smileys (actually, not being able to
swith to plan text viewing).

Can you clarify what you are expecting?
For example in this reply your original text is maroon, if I paste something in:

The boy stood on the burning deck

or even

The boy stood on the burning deck

Then that is black - it's not 'quoted text' - which specifically means text
quoted from the email to which you/I are replying.

copy some text then on the menu EDIT / PASTE AS QUOTATION. It used to
match the quoted text you see about (default=maroon) however now it
pasts in the default font for regular text

Right - it IS a quotation but it does not respect the choice of font
and color for quoted text.

It does here. And I am using the same version than you.

What profile do you have selected in Editor window View-Viewer Profile?
And what is the layout for that profile in Preferences - Viewer/Editor
 - Profile Layout? Does it all match?

Good catch although there is still a problem. I have the generic view
and another named one. Both have the small maroon text defined but
different fonts. I was using the named one and a quick check after
switching to generic, successfully pasted maroon text.

I will watch this but the quick check points to a possible issue in profiles.

I'm using the generic profile (never created a different one), and can't get it
