I had trouble too (and this will happen every so often) Run it as administrator - either right click the icon on the desktop or the RT screen and you will be presented with that option. Once it runs that way you can run it normally after that ... until the next time. You can even do this from the program icon if you wish. Problems moving mail to Windows 8.1
Hello Tbudl, I'm trying to move my mail to my W8.1 laptop as I want to phase out my old XP system. I've created a backup and copied that to the new machine, I've installed the latest version of The Bat! (as on the XP machine) and I am trying to restore all my mail accounts. I left it running all night, but to no avail, the Maintenance Centre simply says 'not responding'.
