Strip Attachments in Forward ?
I send Spam to Spamcop. Lately I have excessive Spam containing Trojans and Virus. I've decided it might be smarter to make sure I didn't ship the original attachment along with the original email. Oy! I didn't know that. Thanks. Is there a useful alternative to the, now, ex-Spamcop? As a mailwasher - SpamCop is still working. But CESMail is no longer with SpamCop. It was replaced with IronPort-Anti-Spam-Filter. Ironport is probably fine, but since it's non-configurable, I find it useless. People used to talk to the SpamCop deputies @ support-ca...@spamcop.net These are either fired or should be - because support-ca...@spamcop.net is un-manned and no-one answers mail there anymore. I never heard that either! I use it multiple times a day and it is in no way dead for me. Keep using spamcop. I don't use a plugin with the bat. I have a shortcut that exports the mail in question to a designated folder, then use Winrar to zip them up and send them in. I never heard that either! I use it multiple times a day and it is in no way dead for me. Keep using spamcop. I also USE SpamCop - since 1997. But the recent changes clearly indicates SpamCop is at the end of its life. It's not the first time - but THIS time the signs are more vivid: The support is dead and the page where users could renew their accounts leads to nowhere. New accounts can not be signed up for, either - if you attempt to create a new account, you will be able to - but then the process fails (making your alias reserved - for no-one). The SpamCop ship is abandoned - it's a Ghost Ship... I read something on their web page that said the CE mail had gone under and was closing it's doors (I THINK that is what it said. I couldn't find it now. If you find it and I am wrong ...) I really can't see them closing the doors. There are other email systems that would work with them: Google comes to mind for branded email systems. They also have a lot of business for the black list ...
