Thanks for that, both my new and reply templates for the folder have

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for the reply, it appears that this only happens when I am replying to
an email which is wider than the screen, at which points it goes outside of the
bounds of the window - which makes some sense.

Let me try to write a very long line because I have never experienced what you
are describing. I usually use HTML/Plaintext but this time I am using HTML
only. Maybe that makes the difference - no, it doesn't. At the end of the
screen, the text continues here on the next line. Let me try to change the size
of the window - nope, it still breaks (softbreak) the lines at the end of the
window and continues in the next line. Resizing to full size changes changes
the softbreaks as desired.

In short, I cannot duplicate your problem.

View Mode - remember / autoexpand groups

2020-12-14 Thread Acheton
Hi all,

I am using grouping by date in a view mode and on closing TB it forgets which
groups are open. Is there anyway to set a view mode so all groups are open?
Or an option for TB to remember which groups are open? I note that the expand
all threads option does this as a by product, but this is undesirable under
some circumstances.

Mark Folder as Read appears to fail

2020-12-07 Thread Acheton
Hi all,

I have a folder which has 187 unread items in it. If I right click on the
folder and select Mark All Messages Read, confirm the prompt nothing happens.
All of the 187 items (which are in the folder itself not a subfolder) fail to
be marked as read and the unread count remains as is. Any clues how to resolve?

Well all I can tell you is that I have several other IMAP connections to Gmail
which work fine and the Starred and Snoozed labels appear find in the Manage
IMAP folders dialog in TB. See attached.

Yes I've done both, the problem is that the folder list on the TB side is only
two folders!

You've clicked on the "down arrow" in front of Gmail, und Imap folder options,

Yes it shows just one more folder

And under "subscribed only"?

Shows nothing.

And checked the download settings there?

Yes.

I've also tried refreshing the list too and still get just two folders.

Create Filter- creates an unwanted folder

2020-12-03 Thread Acheton
Hi all,

The create filter option is creating a new folder in error, to repro follow the
steps below:

1. RC on an email and select Create filter
2. When the Create Mail Filter window opens, note that the Move to box is
marked and a folder selected. Untick Move to
3. Assign to a Colour group for instance
4. Hit OK

At this point a new folder will be created, based on TB's autopopulation in the
Move To box, despite being unticked.

Serious problem with refilter

2020-12-01 Thread Acheton
Hi all,

I'm having a serious problem with the re-filter function. I have an inbox and
a manual filter set to run only that inbox and apply to read items. The folder
is grouped by date. When I run the filter on the folder, it successfully moves
all read items to another location. However there is an unfortunate side
effect, as it refreshes the folder when moving items, the selection jumps
around the message list. Depending on how long the message is highlighted for
it will mark some of the messages as read which is wrong! Anyone know how to
resolve this? It sounds like a bug to me.

I've pinned down another, more reliable way of reproducing this. On my setup I
simply minimize TB and then restore it by clicking on the icon on the start bar
