yesterday i was messing with network options in the bat, i thought i had cancelled all and set it back to what it was originally, but now it ask's for a user name and password when i start the bat i cant remember what i used cause i tought i had deleted it, is there an option to remove this

a while ago now i thought i read somewhere that The Bat! 1.62r was now freeware or you need to register in order to get the serial, but i cant find anything about this, did i imagine it? if i didn't, can anyone post a link to the info please TIA -- Why does my raincoat say 'Dry Clean Only'?

Damn It Peter Hampf, i just tripped on this message you left here on 25/01/2005 at 23:04:18: I don't think that it's freeware - but it had been published at least on a cd in a german computer magazine (com!) in 11/04 along with a serial number and a password. IMO it's still commercial
