Useful filter to catch those blank spam+pdf
Dear Bats Just thought I would share this in case anyone else finds useful. I am getting a large amount of spam with just a PDF attachment (a worm) and a blank email here is a bit of regex that catches them Message Source *matches* -+[0-9]+\r\n(?:[a-zA-Z\-]+: [^\r]+\r\n)+(?:\r\n){1,}-+[0-9]+\r\n(?:[a-zA-Z\-]+: [^\r]+\r\n)*Content-Type: application/pdf; (detects blank messages with a pdf attachment) As an alternative the filter copy is TB! Shortcuts all messed up and how to do
Dear Bats Yikes. I just installed the Christmas Edition following an advertisting email from Ritlabs. No all my dozens of carefully crafted shortcuts are gone. Having gone carefully through messages on the list I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get them back. I can get into the customize box, but what then Someone please run me through a sequence of events that will get (as a case example) a shortcut (say Shift-Control-1 to assign a predefined color group to a message). Alternatively how do I get back to where I was before. What a mess, and the helpfile bears no relation to reality. And even the shortcuts that I seem to be able to assign don't work (so if I assign control R to mark a message Read, it still opens the message for a reply despite altering the apparent shortcut stated on the right click menu (and even after removing the shortcut from the previously designated ^R). Wish I hadn't installed this. My previous version 3.01 was wonderful and stable. Now I have hours of disaster on my hands. -- Mark Windows : Windows XP Service Pack 2 Build 2600 Bat Version 3.64.01 Christmas Edition Current version is 3.62.14 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
