Hello Jan,Gerard, and List: Please excuse this piecing together, but I currently receive these notes in the Digest format..
I suppose the original title of my note was confusing or not understood. We do have Yahoo accounts that were already setup some time ago to be received in our Netscape communicator package as POP mail. So there is currently a Large amount of "yahoo" mail that has previously been received via Netscape as pop mail, and is Residing within Netscape. We would like to tranfer These e-mails into TB. As I originally wrote "When the Import Wizard is used it recognizes our regular isp (@home) mail accounts in Netscape, but does Not seem to do the same with the yahoo pop accounts,((within Netscape)) as they are not subsequently listed for importing." I hope this is more clear and that someone can help. If I understand your question, you want to retrieve your Yahoo! email via The Bat! If that's so, it has nothing to do with Netscape or IE. In TB! create an account, call it Y!_1 or Y!_2 or whatever, fill in your basic info, i.e. name, email acct, organization (optional). When you get to the dialogue that asks for smtp & pop info, include the following: SMTP = whatever the name of you @HOME SMTP server is Pop3 = pop.mail.yahoo.com Finish dialogues, then download your mail. It should be as simple as that. At least it is for me. HTH -- Jan Rifkinson Ridgefield, CT USA TB!
