%ATTACHFILE Not Working

2002-12-11 Thread Michael S. Hyatt
I have a quick template set-up for sending the files. It is the
following line in the template:

%ATTACHFILE=C:\Documents and Settings\MHyatt.CORPDOMAIN1\My
Documents\Websites\survivingterrorism.com\dlbin\tencommandments.pdf

However, when I attempt to use it, it doesn't appear that the files
are attached. I have to manually add it to the e-mail message.

Is this broken, or am I doing something wrong?

Best regards,

Michael S. Hyatt

I am not quite sure, but the line break might be the culprit. to check

Let us know whether it suddenly works.

Yes, that was the culprit. I copied the files to c:\tmp and that
worked. However, this is probably something that should be fixed in a
maintenance release.

Turn Off Period Checking When Disconnected

2002-12-08 Thread Michael S. Hyatt
I have a dial-up connection. I would like to enable periodic checking
of my e-mail accounts. However, it becomes annoying when I am
off-line. The program sounds an error message every time it tries.

How can I set periodic checking so that it *only* checks for new
e-mail when I am on-line.

Thanks.

Moving to New Messages

2002-12-08 Thread Michael S. Hyatt
I'm a newbie to the program. I'm very impressed so far. However, I
must be missing some basic command for this. How do I move from one
message to the next *even if* the next new message is in another
account. I have several e-mail accounts, and I don't want to use the
mouse if I don't have to.

Major bummer. It seems like this would be an easy option for the

Importing Outlook Express Identities

2002-12-07 Thread Michael S. Hyatt
I am in the process of switching from Outlook Express 6.0 to The Bat
1.62.

I am having trouble importing messages from OE. I have three
identities in OE. It appears that only one shows up when I use the
Mailbox Import Wizard.

I am comfortable editing the Registry if that is necessary.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Michael
