There might be a better/easier way that I do not know of, but try
this.

Find the batskin.xml file in the root directory of The Bat!. On my
system that is C:\Program Files\The Bat!

Open this file with an editor such as notepad. Change the width and
height of the icons you want to edit to a different size. I have
changed mine to 16x16 but experiment with what size you think is
the best.

If you can not find batskin.xml respond back and I can e-mail you the
file or insert the text in an e-mail message and you can cut and paste
the info into your own file.

spam locking TheBat!

2005-11-29 Thread Terry G. Munson
Hi All

I have been receiving a strange type of junk e-mail. The e-mail is
obviously spam and gets filtered to my junk folder.

If I click on the e-mail to delete it, TB! locks and will not respond.
I have to kill TB! with the task manager. The only way I can delete
this e-mail is to pick an e-mail above and shift-pick below and
delete the group.

Has anyone had a similar problem?

spam filtering

2005-09-16 Thread Terry G. Munson
Hi All

I finally gave up on using the bayes filtering in TB! and decided to
try K9.

It is working very well the only problem I have now is with one
newsletter I receive.

The newsletter has this header

X-Habeas-Report: Please report use of this mark in spam to...

This causes my filter to put the newsletter in my spam folder since my
filter looks for the word spam in the headers.

Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is there a more sophisticated
way to setup my filter to work with K9?

2003-07-29 Thread Terry G. Munson

I have sent messages to an individual and they have replied back to my
messages.

In the to: field on the reply there are other address that do not make
sense.

If I send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] the return message will have
something like [EMAIL PROTECTED] or
[EMAIL PROTECTED] the only thing common is the prodigy.net

Any ideas what is going on?

Hi Roelof,

Do these addresses also belong to another group? (with or without reply
 or forwarding templates)

I edited all the address so they are only in one group.

Do the addresses that cause problems have multiple entries in your
 address book?

Removed all multiple entries.

Is there something special about the templates you use?

I have reduced the templates to a very basic form to find something that
works...the following is the reply template.

%QINCLUDE=intro%CURSOR

%QINCLUDE=sig
%QINCLUDE=system

None the preceeding has made a difference.

address book templates

2002-10-30 Thread Terry G. Munson
Hi,

I have setup templates for a group (BaseCase) in my address book.

The only template that seems to work is the new message template.

The reply and forward templates do not do anything.

If I receive a message from an individual in this group and try to
reply to or forward the message the templates do not function.

Any help would be appreciated.

If the message has been "saved as draft" you cannot delete it. If
the message is "saved as draft" it will have an hour glass under
the parked column and there should be an hour glass next to the outbox folder.
